The pinless moisture meter uses a dielectric measurement method that eliminates the need to insert electrodes or probes into the material to be measured. The high-frequency sensor technology allows the moisture meter to detect moisture content at a depth of 20mm below the surface of the object, and it can test all kinds of materials without destruction.

The meter features an alarm function that changes the buzzer sound based on the measured humidity value, providing warnings of different frequencies (RISK, slow buzzer sound warning, WET humidity alarm, rapid buzzer sound). It also has a HOLD/ZERO function, allowing you to hold the value and perform a 0-point calibration based on the current air humidity or the humidity of the measured object. The pinless moisture meter can also accurately measure temperature, with a range of 14~140°F (-10~60°C) and an accuracy of ±2.0°C/3°F.

To save battery power, the moisture meter will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity. You can press and hold the "HOLD" button in the shutdown state to power it on and cancel this function.

The pinless wood moisture meter is suitable for testing the moisture content of wood and building materials such as wallboard, slate, tiles, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and mortar, as well as for repairing water leaks and checking the moisture content around the house. It features a 3-inch HD color screen with three color analog bars that indicate "DRY", "RISK", and "WET" status by "Green", "Yellow", and "Red" respectively, making it easy to read even in low light conditions.
